1979
Dot and Jerry Griffin open a Convenient Food Mart franchise in West Coxsackie. The new store is well received and features a large assortment of groceries, fresh produce, and deli meats. Each of their family of eight children take their turn working at the store and helping to run the business.
1988
The franchise system name changes to Bonfare. A store re-model includes pizza ovens. The Bonfare pizza legend is born!
2004
Jerry Griffin Jr. and wife Meg assume ownership from Dot Griffin.
2006
The store name changes to Griffin's Market. A new menu is introduced featuring salads, wraps, and grilled sandwiches.
